FAQ

How long does it take to design and manufacture a desktop injection molding machine and mold?

In non-saturated order conditions, the machine manufacturing cycle is about 20–25 days, and the mold design and manufacturing cycle is about 20–25 days.

What is the price for mold design and manufacturing?

Molds generally use Cr40 mold steel with a mold life of ≥290,000 times. Detailed price depends on 3D model data and material information. Reference price: small simple mold $510; small mold with core pulling mechanism $876.

Will you ship the machine to me?

Air freight usually takes about 7 days; sea shipping takes about 30–45 days. Auto express is available in Russia and Central Asia, taking about 25–45 days. Exact shipping price requires detailed address confirmation.

How big a part can Desktop Inject make?

The maximum design size of the mold is approximately L200 × W160 × H80–130 mm, and the actual part size should be smaller than the mold size.

What plastic types can be used?

Most general plastics and engineering plastics can be used. Typical materials include PP, PE, POM, PA, PLA, TPE and PMMA. Different plastics melt and flow differently, so injection settings should be adjusted by material.

Is there guidance or training on new machine operation?

Operating instructions, operating videos and engineer online guidance training can be provided.
